Speakers Profile
Apelles Poh:-
Apelles Poh is a Certified Financial PlannerCM who also holds a Masters in Financial Planning (USQ). He has also qualified for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table Award for the past 12 consecutive years. In 2004, for excellence in financial planning, he was awarded the inaugural Singapore Financial Adviser Representative of the Year by The Asia Financial Planning Journal. An Advanced Toastmaster, he also works closely with HR practitioners to conduct financial planning talks as part of the companys staff welfare program.
Apelles has been featured in the Straits Times, Business Times, Fundsupermart, Asia Financial Planning Journal, Smart Investor Magazine. Recently he has also appeared live on News Radio FM93.8 to talk on Financial Planning. He is a practice manager with Professional Investment Advisory Services Pte Ltd, a licensed financial advisory firm, and currently leads a team of 25 representatives.

Shahid Ghauri:-
Shahid Ghauri is from Australia and has been in the Australian financial services industry for over 10 years. He started his financial planning career in Plan B Financial Services Ltd, one of the largest independent, fee-based financial advisory firms in Australia, as Financial Advisor. Later, He joined Brighton Hall Financial Services, a boutique financial service company in Perth as their Practice Development Manager.
He is also a lead lecturer at Curtin University on investment and financial services topics and has become in demand in recent years for talks and discussions in the Asian Pacific, Sub Continent and African regions. He is passionate about educating and showing clients how to take control of their financial future.
