FPA's AGM was held on 20th March 2010 at the Boulevard Hotel and members were officially informed at this meeting that our new name Malaysian Financial Planners and Advisers Association (FPA in short) has been approved by the Registrar of Societies. The President Mr Yap Ming Hui unveiled the logo to the members. In conjuction with the AGM, the Executive Committee also arranged for Practice Management workshops in line with our new mission of helping our members be practising financial planners and advisers.

MAChFC held their 2009 Annual General Meeting at the Boulevard Hotel. The meeting was on the 20th March 2009 and chaired by outgoing President Mr Vincent Tan. The handing over ceremony was also held where Mr Vincent Tan handed over the Presidency to Mr Yap Min Hui. Accompanying the new President elect Mr Yap Ming Hui are the other ExCo members on the left of Mr Yap, Mr KR Raju (Deputy President), Mr Afred Sek (VIce President), Mr Alvin Yap (Vice President) and on Mr Yap Ming Hui's right are Ms Karen Tan (Treasurer), Mr Robert Foo ( Vice President) and Mr R Kesavan (Secretary).
